bio 簡介
Good Luck Rabbits is a Chinese songwriting duo comprised of composer Josh Hou (侯守仁) and lyricist Shuxuan Zhou (周舒璇), both based in Seattle. Their songs capture diasporic lives and dreams—the sweet, the heartbroken, the outrageous, and the suspenseful. The music spans styles and genres, yet remains firmly planted in the Mandarin pop tradition.
Josh is an experienced jazz musician who has released three records as a solo bandleader—Diaspora (2024), Feeling of Home (2020), and Bilingualism (2019)—as well as two collaborative records, Bloom (2024) and The Horn Bellows (2022). His music is rooted in his multicultural upbringing and heritage spanning the United States, China, and Malaysia. Good Luck Rabbits is Josh’s first adventure into Chinese pop.
Shuxuan is the author of From Forest Farm to Sawmill: Stories of Labor, Gender, and the Chinese State (University of Washington Press, 2024) and has also published work in Sixth Tone, Moss Lit., Shoegaze Lit., and other outlets. Writing in both Chinese and English, their work explores women’s and queer experiences of navigating liminal spaces, (re)building homes, queering desires, and striving toward personal and collective dreams.
“双兔吉祥”（Good Luck Rabbits）是一支来自西雅图、由作曲人侯守仁与作词人周舒璇组成的华语原创音乐双人组合。他们的作品描绘海外游子的生活与梦想——那些甜蜜的、心碎的、愤怒的、未知的时刻。他们的音乐跨越风格与流派，但都根植于华语流行乐传统。
侯守仁是经验丰富的爵士音乐家，以乐队领队身份发行过三张专辑：《流散》（2024）、《家感》（2020）和《双语》（2019），另有两张合作专辑《Bloom》（2024）与《The Horn Bellows》（2022）。他的音乐缘起于他自己跨越美国、中国和马来西亚的多文化成长经历与家族传承。”双兔吉祥”是侯守仁进军华语流行乐的首次尝试。
周舒璇著有《From Forest Farm to Sawmill: Stories of Labor, Gender, and the Chinese State》（华盛顿大学出版社，2024）。ta的短文与诗歌发表于”第六声”、Moss、Shoegaze等平台。ta使用中英双语创作，探索女性与酷儿群体的生命历程—-在“之间”中的生活体验、建构与重构家园、酷儿化情欲、追寻个人与集体梦想。
